Production Supervisor

Higher Taste is a local, family-owned food manufacturer specializing in Vegan and Vegetarian foods. We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor! The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily food production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English, and the ability to delegate tasks and multi-task efficiently. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily tasks of production staff, including training and giving feedback

  • Delegate tasks to production staff as needed

  • Report to Production Manager frequently regarding daily production

  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control processes

  • Ability to step into production roles whenever needed

  • Tracking production logs (temperature, hand-washing, sanitizing, cleaning, etc)

  • Schedule is Monday-Friday, 5 am - till work is finished. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years in food production

  • 1+ years in staff supervision or management

  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs

  • Ability to spend work day standing

  • Ability to communicate in English & Spanish

  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

PAY AND BENEFITS

  • Pay range is $15-18 per hour, DOE.
