Office Manager
Higher Taste is a food manufacturer located in Cornelius, OR. specializing in Vegan and Vegetarian foods.
We are seeking an office manager with excellent organizational skills who will coordinate office administration and procedures to promote efficiency and safety. This position will need to establish systems for developing intra-office communication arrangements, office staff supervision, and managing HR to name a few things.
Higher Taste will need an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing different hats, experienced in a wide range of administrative duties, able to work independently with little or no supervision.
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily paperwork operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced computer skills, is well written, has the ability to communicate effectively verbally and the talent to delegate and multi-task efficiently.
Job Responsibilities

Manage our office services that our procedures and operations are organized. Correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.

Develop and implement office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the office.

Assign tasks among office staff. Track that new systems are being followed and make changes if necessary. Evaluate staff performance.

Responsible for managing our relationships with our vendors and customers.

Creating and updating customer databases.

Create PowerPoint slides for databases, also use PowerPoint for presentations.

Oversee daily tasks of sales staff, including invoicing, customer support

Understand all aspects of HR, from interviewing, hiring, record keeping, payroll and insurance compliance.

Oversee Audit paperwork and OSHA compliance

Manage executives schedules, calendars and appointments.

Fill in and cover when office staff are not present.
Required Qualifications-Great Attitude!

2+ years in office management or assistant experience, easy to work with.

Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and Quickbooks. knowledge of accounting (A/P, A/R, Payroll), data entry, and ERP systems.

Knowledge in HR management practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational, recordkeeping and planning skills, detail oriented, excellent time management skills

Bachelors’ degree in business, accounting, finance, business administration or related fields.
Highly Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing new software systems

PAY AND BENEFITS

Regular schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. In the beginning you will need to cross train other current shifts which begin at 6:00 am. Work day is complete when all tasks are done.

Pay range is $22-$26.00 per hour. Overtime pays time and a half
